The world under the spotlight
I do not like Britney Spears very much. Although I like some of her songs, her misbehavior really makes me have a bad impression on her. And now she is back again, I not quite believe of her change. In my opinion, the world of entertainers is very untruthful. Sometimes the truth is not what we see on the news; they can do this way in front of the public, but do the other way behind the spotlight. I think of them in this way is because I have seen too much scandals of singers and actors. Moreover, they lie to the public in order to protect their reputation. I was disappointed about them and couldn’t believe them anymore. Anyway, I would like to give advice to those who are always under the spotlight. Be responsible to your own behavior.

I also agree with you that some of the celebrities would behave in two different ways when they are on and behind the spotlight. However, there are still some famous people with really positive impression, just like the famous people stand for anti-smoking groups or the ones do some charities in the society. They all behave well and do their best to contribute to the society. As for Britney Spears’ case, she was lost after she became so famous. Then, she did something strange and dressed provocatively in the public. However, now, she determines to change herself and goes back to the situation before. Actually, I don’t quite believe her change because many entertainers in Taiwan regret and feel sorry after drug usage, but they start using drugs again after several months. As a result, I am suspicious with her change. On the contrary, if she is my friends or my family, the situation is totally different. I would choose to believe her change. After all, if she is my family or friend, I should support her choices to become better. Therefore, I would definitely choose to believe and support her.
回覆刪除However, since she decides to change and restart her career of entertainment, I think that the other people should give her a chance to restart. No matter whether she is our friend or family or not, we all should give her another chance to prove that she is different from before. Even the criminals who steal can get a chance to restart and turn over a new leaf; how can she doesn’t have any chance to restart? As a consequence, we, whether her fans or not, should all give her another chance to develop a fresh start.
I believe there are still some celebrities that have good impression to the public and are good model to the society.
回覆刪除On the other hand, if I were Britney Spears' friend or family, I definitely will give her a chance. I will help her and teach her the right concept. I like your example of criminals. We should all have kindness and give the person who made mistake a chance. If I were the one who made mistake, I would long for forgiveness. I learn that we should have sympathy to others. No matter how serious the mistake they made, we should learn to give them a chance. Try to think on their situation and we will be more generous to those who made mistake. What I said previously is too extreme. I should think in different ways and should not have prejudice toward things.
